Hi, I'm Ashley!
Thank you for visiting my website and for your interest in hiring me as your second photographer for your upcoming weddings or events. I've put together a few examples of my work as well as some information about myself that, I hope, will help you determine if I'm a good fit to work with you.
I've photographed individuals, families, couples, and engagements on my own and would love to help other photographers capture beautiful moments for their clients. My goal as a second photographer is to support your needs and be an extension of your style and services. Whether that's capturing moments on my own, providing a variety of angles and focal lengths, or simply running a battery over to charge so you can keep focused on your client. Services I Provide
I will show up on time or even a little early to be ready to begin coverage at the call time for your event or wedding. I always photograph in RAW with a dual slot camera. I am comfortable shooting in manual and use hot shoe flash when needed.
While working with me I am at your service. I'm here to do what I can to make your day easier and capture content you're looking for, not getting in the way to selfishly build my own portfolio. I aim to provide diverse photos that are shot thoughtfully to make culling easier at the end of the day. If you're shooting wide, I'll shoot tight or look for alternative angles and perspectives. I'll also do my best to be aware of what's going on around me to catch those small special moments that may otherwise be missed.
I'm comfortable shooting on my own or assisting the lead photographer in setting up a shot, such as fluffing a wedding dress or calling names to help organize group portraits, and other tasks that help keep the timeline running smoothly.
Overall, I represent your brand and provide the utmost service to you and your clients.
Get to know me!
I'm a North Carolina native and love it here! I went to Lenoir-Rhyne University on a cross country and track scholarship and double majored in Environmental and Political Sciences. Afterwards, I continued on to Clemson University for my Master of City and Regional Planning.
So...where does photography come in? I've always loved art and photography and have owned a DSLR since high school. Even with the awards and degrees, what really drives me is my passion for creativity. There's nothing quite like the joy of creating something that brings just as much happiness to others as it does for me.
In recent years I've taken interest to pursue photography as a side business. What I love most about it is the opportunity to meet people and capture their love, joy, and happiness in an image that they and their family can enjoy for generations.
