I am a North Carolina girl who took her time to venture out before returning to her hometown. My journey includes a collegiate athletic career in cross country and track at Lenoir-Rhyne University while studying Environmental Policy and Political Science. Afterward, I went straight into grad school at Clemson University and graduated with a Master of City and Regional Planning. I lived in the bustling city of Charlotte for a few years, and in 2022, my husband and I exchanged vows at the church where we first met in Concord, NC. We moved back to Catawba County and together, we've poured our hearts into renovating our farmhouse, cultivating our little homestead, and traveling to Alaska, Hawaii, and Scotland.

 

I've held a deep-seated appreciation for photography since I received my first DSLR as a high school graduation gift. When I had free time at Lenoir-Rhyne I would take art classes to unwind and during track meets I would photograph my teammates during their races. I took a break from art and photography during graduate school. When my husband and I started traveling, my passion for photography was reinvigorated by documenting our adventures and capturing the beauty of the world around us. Then having those images to share our experience when we returned home.

 

Part of what I enjoy about photography are the emotions and memories that  images evoke long after they are taken. This is what I also want for you!
